Nanteos Gun Dog Working Test, 2nd and 3rd of May
The country house hotel is hosting an exciting weekend of gun dog working tests, supported by BASC Wales and Ceredigion Gundog Club. The 444 Chocolate Challenge, 4th of May
Twm’s Treks have teamed up with Sarah Bunton’s Chocolates to offer this very appetising package. Enjoy four miles of walking in the gorgeous countryside surrounding Devil’s Bridge before dropping in to Sarah Bunton’s shop to sample four of her finest local chocolates. £10 per person. The Mondraker Enduro Series – Round 3, 23rd & 24th of May
Round 3 of the Mondraker Enduro Series will also be the Welsh National Enduro Championships. The stages will be based in the Crychan and Irfon Forests near Llanwrtyd Wells. For 2015, the timed sections have been completely redesigned to make them more challenging and will largely comprise of freshly cut trails. World Stone Skimming Championships, 24th of May
While the World Alternative Games may not be taking place this year, some of the most popular events and championships are still going ahead regardless. Head down to Llanwrtyd Wells on Sunday the 24th and you’ll get to find out who is crowned champion at the World Stone Skimming Championships 2015.
MTB Marathon in Rhayader, 24th May
Following the unprecedented success of the event in 2014, it is no surprise that the Rhayader event is back for its second year. For 2015 the three routes (Full 75km, Half 50km and Mini 25km) have been polished up and with the introduction of one of Wales’ finest descents this round will positively quench your thirst for adrenaline.
