STEPtember 2014!

This years STEPtember is already under way with a wide variety of walks on offer for all fitness levels in the Mid Wales region.

STEPtember 2014 brings together 18 communities that are located in and around the Cambrian Mountains.

With 30 walks to be a part of throughout September, each community has been promoting their walks like mad to ensure a successful STEPtember.

Cambrian Mountains Tourism Group coordinated this project in collaboration with community groups and tourism enterprises after a very successful Cambrian Mountains Walking Weekend.

Easy: two miles – Llanerchaeron National Trust Walk
A leisurely walk in the lovely Aeron Valley, this trail is perfect for beginners and will take approximately two hours.

Moderate: seven miles – Llanerchindda Farm Cynghordy
This walk requires moderate fitness, as you will be trekking across seven miles of Cynghordy in only three hours!

Hard: 12 miles – Ieuenctid Cambria-Monk’s Trod section
A six to seven hour hike through the Elan Valley, not for the faint hearted this adventure requires a high fitness level!
