Vale of Rheidol Railway (Aberystwyth to Devil’s Bridge)
This trip gives you the opportunity to take the scenic Vale of Rheidol Railway from Aberystwyth, before embarking on a 4-hour safari that starts with a look at Devil’s Bridge and three other bridges in the area and continues to take in some of this picturesque region’s best sites.
The tour itself costs £25 per person, with train tickets starting at around £18 return for an adult and £6 for children. For more information and to book tickets, contact www.rheidolrailway.co.uk
Byways and Rough Tracks wilderness adventure
As you might have guessed from the name, this tour has been specifically designed to take visitors on a tour of some of the roughest tracks in North Ceredigion, and also features the Rheidol Hydro electric Power scheme. The tour follows a variety of rough tracks high in the wilderness of the Ceredigion uplands, and passes tranquil lakes, ruined farms and dramatic reservoirs.
Tours start from £30 per person for a half day. For more information visit www.cambriansafaris.co.uk/#!junefathers-day-/cvmr
