A Classic Cambrian Christmas Tale!

Guess who?

Guess who?

The Cambrian Mountains is a place that prides itself on being a little bit different. With the likes of the World Alternative Games, bog snorkelling and the World Bath-tubbing Championships all pushing the boundaries of eccentric events, here’s a fun boxing day show that shouldn’t be missed.

C&C113_Y Syrcas_1sht_Art_R3_E.inddIt’s not your normal Christmas outing, but this is what is possible in the Cambrian Mountains in December 2013. Tregaron, a complete Cambrian Mountain town, welcomes visitors to come and view the film ‘Y Syrcas’ on S4C this Christmas. Combining classic Cambrian Mountains views with a storyline to touch hearts of all ages, the Kevin Allen film will present this part of Wales at its best and enhancing the area once again as a must visit place. There’s an elephant in it too.

The film will be screened on Boxing Day at 7.00 on S4C, Sky 104/134, Virgin 166, Freesat 104.

Let’s hope they’re all back in time, as the annual Tackle The Turkey Trek will have taken place on Boxing Day at 10.00 a.m. and absorb the views around Tregaron. People of all ages are welcome and Terwyn the Turkey will once again lead the way around this 4 mile route, high up in the Cambrian Mountains.  And of course, Christmas isn’t Christmas without Twm Sion Cati (well it is really).

If you have people staying, family or visitors, contact Twm on 07748 675798 and a wintery walk might just be possible through www.twmstreks.com.

So all in all it looks like another interesting Christmas in Tregaron!
