The Real Ale Wobble!
Are two of your greatest loves mountain biking and proper Welsh ale? Llanwrtyd Wells might just have the perfect event for you!
This November will see the hugely popular ‘Real Ale Wobble‘ return to Llanwrtyd Wells (the spiritual home of quirky events) to kick start the 10-day Mid Wales beer festival.
Taking place on the 16th and 17th of November, the event will offer biking tracks for both amateurs and experts, all of which will make the most of the stunning Cambrian Mountains surroundings.
Both tracks will be waymarked and marshalled, with two check points along the way, as well as one at the finish lines. Pick up tokens along the way and you’ll be able to exchange them for locally brewed ale once you’re done (water, hot drinks and soft drinks are also available).
The main feed station will also house a Coffee Pod and BBQ where you’ll be able to refuel, plus a shower if you feel the need to warm up.
By night, you’ll have the chance to try out many of the ales, ciders and perries across several festival venues, all while enjoying music courtesy of some excellent local bands on both Friday and Saturday evening.
2 days riding costs £22, or 1 day for £16 (this goes up to £25 and £20 respectively if booking on the day)
