On Sunday November 10th, the Elan Valley Rangers will be leading a six-mile walk taking in the sights of three of the main dams: Craig Goch, Pen y Garreg and Caban Coch. The route will follow the path of the former railway, which was used to transport materials to the area during the construction of the dams.

Sorcha Lewis, Head Ranger, said: “The Elan Valley scenery is even more striking during the autumn. Our guided walks around the Elan Valley are ideal for anyone wishing to get out and about to enjoy the beautiful colours of the Elan Valley at this time of year.”

Those interested in the walk should meet at the Visitor Centre at 9.15am for a lift to the starting point and expect to return at 12.30pm.
