What’s going on in November?

There’s lots happening this month in the Cambrian Mountains, from cooking to walking to wobbling (!) so get involved!


5th November – Cookery Class at Nanteos 

A special opportunity to take part in a cookery master class run by Nanteos’ chef patron. Participants will be met with coffee and biscuits at 10am before the cooking commences in the Mews House kitchen.


10th November – Caban Walk in the Elan Valley –  Join a ranger on an easy 6 mile walk from Craig Goch Dam, past Pen y Garreg Dam and to Caban Coch on the old Elan Valley railway.


16th November – Real Ale Wobble – This means both cycling and sampling ale which is made at the Heart of Wales Brewery in Llanwrtyd Wells. This event marks the start of the Mid Wales Beer Festival on the 19th and 20th November with routes of 15, 25 or 35 miles on each day.

 23rd November – Real Ale Ramble  The ramble begins from the Town Square and follows any of 3 waymarked routes of 10, 15 or 25 miles with free real ales available at the checkpoints! Walks on both the Saturday and Sunday with live entertainment in the pubs on both evenings too!
